The Plastimo 67263 Constrictor® is a game-changing sailing deck hardware that offers three times lighter weight and twice the breaking load compared to conventional metal clutches. Its simple yet effective design utilizes the squeezing capacity of braided sleeves, specifically the Aramid Technora® sock, to securely hold the line under tension. Unlike traditional clutches, the rope is not pressed between two metallic parts, eliminating distortion, wear, and chafing. Releasing the line is also effortless, even under heavy load, with a simple retraction of the sleeve.
