4′ x 10′ ANODIZED ALUMINUM BOARDWALK DOCK SECTIONS

Our Anodized Aluminum Dock Sections are economical, lightweight and comfortable to walk on. These sections use aluminum decking designed to resemble a 5/4″ deck board and 4″ F-channel side stringers. They also include two underside stringers that better support the decking than other sections built with a single underside stringer. The dock sections are maintenance-free and the anodized aluminum finish keeps them cool to the touch, even in direct sunlight. 

These aluminum dock sections provide a sleek look with durable build quality and are easy to clean and maintain.

WHAT DOES ANODIZING MEAN?

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the aluminum. When this is done, it is like adding a clear coat to the aluminum that protects it from corrosion and discoloring. It is also the reason the dock stays cool in direct sunlight. Raw or Non-Anodized aluminum discolors over time, will transfer a black residue to skin or clothes and can get extremely hot in direct sunlight.  

DOCK SUPPORT AND LAYOUT

In most cases, each section requires a single dock support and can use a Traditional H-Frame Support OR a UDS (Under Dock Support)…which provides a nice, clean look with no posts above the dock surface. Sections can also be installed side by side or side to end to create platforms and seating areas. We offer UDS and beam-style supports for platforms and can go as wide as you need.
