17′ Hazelnut Open Canoe
Original price was: $70.40.$45.09Current price is: $45.09.
Description
The requirement was for a canoe with the same stability, capacity and maneuverability as the 17′ Prospector but without the high swept back ends and a flatter sheer line. So I took the Prospector model and kept the same mid-section with it’s tumblehome and stable shape and remodeled the ends to give a more guide-boat feel to them.
Construction is the usual simple stitch and tape method with 5 planks per side – she will take a rig, leeboards and rudder so the standard 15’8″ Prospector rig details are sent with the plans.
