  Marlow D2 Racing 78 and Marlow D2 Classic are premium sailing ropes developed for demanding racing and cruising yachts where low stretch, lightweight construction, and maximum reliability are essential. Both ranges combine a 12-strand Dyneema® SK78 core with a high-strength removable 24-plait polyester cover, delivering outstanding strength, excellent handling, and long service life.

  Designed for halyards, low-stretch sheets, reefing lines, and professional sail-control systems, these ropes float, offer outstanding resistance to elongation, and are quick and easy to splice. The removable cover allows tapering to reduce weight without compromising strength, making them ideal for high-performance racing applications.

  The range includes D2 Racing 78 in distinctive flecked racing colours and D2 Classic in solid colours. Standard products are supplied on 100 m reels, while selected D2 Racing sizes are also available cut to customer-specified lengths from 1 metre, providing a convenient solution for replacement halyards, custom rigging, repairs, and new installations without purchasing a full reel.
